Today I took my Mom out on a wonderful adventure. Ever since I found Carolina Lily's facebook page, I've been saying we're going. However, life, work and Renaissance Festivals always managed to get in the way. I've been intrigued by their advertisement for Picnic-in-a-Pot, Tea Party-in-a-Hat, and Boxed Lunch.
If you've never been, allow me to enlighten you. As you can see by the above picture, the grounds (and the house) are magnificent. Ken Carlton Road is located off of Long Ferry Road, in Salisbury, out towards High Rock Lake.
Besides the beautifully landscaped ground (complete with coy pond), there are two cottages where you'll find some of the most delightful items possible. We saw really cool umbrellas, jewelry, soaps, lotions, scarves, hats, gloves, boas, chai tea mix, bird feeders, bird houses and so much more. Let me let the pictures speak for themselves.
So many colors...so many shiny things...so much yummy smelling soaps...cute gifts for kids & adults.
I highly recommend checking Carolina Lily out.
Later this year I'll be trying out one of those Tea Parties and/or Box Lunches and you'll all be able to go along with me. For now...enjoy the rest of my pictures on my facebook page.
Carolina Lily is located at 1375 Kern Carlton Road, Salisbury, NC and they are open Wednesday thru Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm (closed in January).
